Mark joined UP Education in 2018, bringing senior leadership experience in a number of growth-orientated organisations, including 12 years as a CEO.

Mark was most recently CEO of electronic payments provider Paymark. Prior to that, he was CEO of Pacific Fibre and internet provider ihug and also CEO of the Fixed and Broadband business unit for Vodafone New Zealand.

Mark is a graduate of Canterbury University. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Masters of Engineering Management.

Mark has also served on the Freightways Board of Directors since September 2015.
